What Zixsys does
Zixsys Inc. was established in April, 2002 as a subsidiary of SANYO Semiconductor Company as an LSI development company. Zixsys has been working on image processing technologies such as biometrics and human facial recognition solutions.
Zixsys started the development of the LSI for an RFID tag embedded with an AD converter and the Malaysian Microchip (MM chip) LSI shortly after it's establishment. The RFID technologies that were built during the RFID LSI development became the technology base of major current products of Zixsys such as RFID Reader, IC card Reader or NFC device. Zixsys is not only developing these products but also supporting the mass-production by subcontracting the manufacturing to industry specialist partners. Zixsys overcame many obstacles to prepare the MM chip for mass production.
Not only does Zixsys specialize in hardware development but has a very strong software team. They are experienced in embedded CPU Operating systems, drivers and also libraries.

Zixsys has a Hardware development team and a Middleware development team. With our Hardware development team specializing in designing hardware with embedded firmware. Since our engineers have extensive experience in LSI development, Zixsys has extensive knowledge in working with semiconductors to get the best performance out of the silicon devices. The Middleware development team specializes in the development of Real time-OS, Drivers for peripherals, software stacks for communication protocols especially for embedded high performance CPU such as 32-bits RISC. Zixsys also does Drivers and Middleware development and porting for Windows OS.
